STEEL TECH 99, an international exhibition presented prominent steel related companies in Asia region. This included names like Essar, Jindal, Isibars, Rolta, Shah Alloys, Morgan, SKF Bearings and many others. Shri R. K. Prasannan, Development Commissioner for I & S cut the ribbon of this exhibition and visited the stands along with Shri D.A.Chandekar of ‘Steelworld’ and other dignitaries. The exhibition was open from 16th to 18th December.

The event venue, Nehru Centre is specifically meant for organising such high level industrial exhibitions and provides excellent facilities such as central air-conditioning, enough electrical points, refreshment stalls, spacious parking place etc. The month of December is best suited as the weather in this part of the country is quite pleasant at that time.
